Have you ever felt stagnant? Like you’ve been trying to pull yourself out of quick sand but you continue to slowly sink.

When you’re up against ‘lack of’ what do you do? It gets hard when you’re battling with yourself. Trying to find the time, energy, words, strength and direction towards your goals can be draining.

Coming to terms with the fact that it’s YOU that’s been holding YOU back is a tough pill to swallow especially when you feel like you’ve given it your all and things did not work out the way you expected it to. Being a firm believer in everything happens for a reason has helped pull me out of that quick sand, understanding that the desire for instant gratification will put me 10 steps backward on this journey.

There are times where you need community to nudge you a bit in order for you to see the bigger picture. You may even need a hard reset to your habits, routine and even thought pattern. It’s all about you coming to terms with what hasn’t been working in your favor and what has or had helped you in the past. This will allow space for the reconstruction process, breaking yourself down to then build yourself back up; unlearning negative patterns to then produce positive ones.

Do not think for one second there’s only one reconstruction ride, as you begin to grown and stand firm in your purpose you may be met with challenges. This may call for you to reconstruct again and again until you get the right regimen. Allow yourself space, grace and freedom to experience different things that can add value to your life.

Plan out what needs a tune up, adjustment and complete replacement in your life. Set that plan in motion to revamp this thing called life. Give yourself small tasks, celebrate them and live in each moment to truly feel that change happening in your life, fall in love with the journey not the end result.
