Fathers push you to be athletic and to never fear the uncomfortable.
Though mine isn’t here physically, I can feel him, pushing me through life’s disorganized quest.
Climbing the wall of uncoordinated shapes intended to challenge.
In life I challenge myself to push on, one arm in front of the other, one foot at a time, I’m working to psych myself into all things my father would of instilled in me.
No challenge hard to overcome but a lesson to be learned.
His absences is my worse nightmare but the fire that fuels me.
