By now I would of expected to fall short of my commitment to post everyday in 2020. Not that I can’t do it, I usually just have to divide up my attention and before I know it, the day is over.

I just need a moment!

Most times I juggle a bunch of things at once causing me to fall short in some areas. Not that I can’t multitask, I simply end up giving too much attention to one thing over another and before I know it, I’m screaming “OH SNAP, I FORGOT TO DO …”.

I just need a moment!

You’ve been there before, I know it’s not just me. On that note I take today to applaud myself because I barely ever give myself enough credit. Knowing that I take on multiple objectives at once pushes me to be a bit harder on myself. It’s something about knowing I can do better that forces me to criticize myself more than I commend.

I just need a moment!

I’m doing great, I’m stepping up to the plate and I’m knocking it out the park with these blog post. Consistency is key they said, so I’m here to serve it up. I’m actually becoming more focused on writing, filling the void of my love for free expression. I’m honestly proud to make it to a random number such as 104, that’s big to actually produce relatable articles everyday of the year. I deserve a drink for my accomplishments thus far, a little confetti, celebration horns or something. I’m actually looking forward to writing another 100 posts and another 100 after that.

I just need a moment!

Take time out to celebrate how far you’ve come. Sometimes we are so focused on the end goal that we forget to celebrate the process along the way. Let loose enjoy yourself a little than it’s back to work. But just as I do, you deserve it too.

We just need a moment!
